Flight AutoSave Is Live for United, Delta, Alaska, and American

Since we launched hotel AutoSave, Gondola has automatically rebooked hundreds of thousands of dollars of hotel reservations when rates dropped after booking. Same room, same loyalty privileges, lower price. The average Gondola traveler saves $413 a year from it, and it runs entirely in the background.

Today we're bringing the same idea to flights.

Flight AutoSave is now live for bookings on United, Delta, Alaska, and American. Add your itinerary to Gondola by linking your email, forwarding the confirmation to trips@gondola.ai, or entering it manually from the Missing Reservations? button on your Trips page. From there, we watch the fare on your exact itinerary, and when the price drops you automatically get a flight credit from the airline for the difference.

What's Different from Hotel AutoSave

With hotels, a rate drop means Gondola rebooks the same room at the new price. You get the savings of the lower price, your loyalty number carries over, you get all your points and perks as usual, plus 3-7% Gondola Cash back, and you never think about it.

Flights work a little differently. Airlines issue credits directly on existing bookings when the fare drops, rather than requiring a new ticket. You keep your same confirmation number, seat assignment, and reservation add-ons, exactly as you booked them. You just end up with credit from the airline for the difference, ready to use on a future trip (Gondola will track these credits for you too).

Whether it's flights or hotels, you keep 100% of the price drop savings. Gondola doesn't take a cut.

What's Eligible for Flight AutoSave

Flight AutoSave works for all cabin types except basic economy. If you have a non-refundable fare, the airline will only provide flight credit. You can use those flight credits on a future flight, and they typically expire in 1 year. If you have a fully refundable fare, you can get cash back instead.

If your ticket isn't eligible for AutoSave, Gondola still sends you a fare drop alert so you can decide what to do. Full details are in our AutoSave guide.

Fare Monitoring on Every Other Airline

Gondola still monitors fares on eligible itineraries across JetBlue, Southwest, British Airways, Air Canada, Air France, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Frontier, and Virgin Atlantic. While AutoSave isn't available on those yet, Gondola will notify you when prices drop so you can save.

More airlines are coming.

Everything in One Place

Flight credits show up on your Loyalty Dashboard alongside your hotel rate savings, hotel points, and credit card rewards. Credits from cancellations, schedule changes, and refunds are tracked there too, with the original amount, remaining balance, and expiration date for each one.

Hotel AutoSave: Every Hotel, Every Chain

On the hotel side, AutoSave works across every hotel Gondola supports, on cash and points reservations alike. If your booking is refundable and the rate drops on the exact room and rate type you booked, we rebook you at the new price. Your loyalty points, status nights, and credit card points all carry over.

Hotel AutoSave only reprices when the room, rate, and cancellation policy match exactly. If only the rate type changes (say, a Hilton Honors Sale appears with slightly different cancellation terms), we email you so you can decide whether the new terms work for you, rather than rebooking automatically.

If you booked your hotel through Gondola, we'll default to the card you paid with. You can change it anytime, and you can connect multiple cards and assign any of them to any reservation, which is handy if you like to put Hilton stays on a Hilton card and Marriott stays on a Marriott card. And if you booked somewhere other than Gondola? No problem, we'll catch savings on those for you too.

If AutoSave isn't turned on for a specific stay, Gondola still monitors the rate in the background and sends you an alert when it drops. You can rebook with one tap.

The setup for both flights and hotels lives on your Trips page. When you turn AutoSave on, you turn it on for both flights and hotels at once. You can then toggle individual reservations on or off as you go. The AutoSave guide walks you through linking a card, choosing a payment method per stay, and more.

If you'd rather not connect a card, that's fine too. Gondola will keep monitoring all of your eligible flight and hotel reservations and email you whenever the price drops, and you can take it from there.

Rate monitoring (price drop alerts without AutoSave) covers eligible itineraries across JetBlue, Southwest, British Airways, Air Canada, Air France, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Frontier, and Virgin Atlantic, in addition to the airlines covered by AutoSave.

Gondola does this for free.

Other sites charge for fare monitoring subscriptions or take a cut of what you save when they catch a rate drop. Gondola doesn't. We're free to use, free to book through, and every dollar you save on your flights and hotels is yours to keep.

We're excited to expand this and to keep building tools to help you save money and earn money on your travel. Book the way you already book, and let Gondola handle the rest.
